Years ago I was at a gallery party. One of the salesperson's spouse had rescued a couple of baby Gambel's quails, and they spent a lot of time perched on his shoulder. I took a lot of photos and a few years later I was looking for subject for a painting and came across the photos. There are no prints available for this painting. The edition sold out several years ago, but I held the original in my inventory along with many other paintings. It's now time to let this inventory go. This photo shows the painting framed as it is today.Monitor settings may make a difference in the colors and values you see. The mat will be 18 inches high by 24 inches wide. Add 1/4 inch for frame width.
