This building is in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was rather neglected and forlorn when I found it and I decided that I would paint what I thought the building could be with a bit of tender loving maintenance. This is a dream garden because everything is in bloom all at one time, and any gardener knows that never happens. If it were to happen this way in real life, there would be a short period of time when the garden was wonderful, then it would be gone. With a painting, you can keep the dream.
