The San Xavier mission is south of Tucson, Arizona. It has a long history as it brought European culture to the southwest. I enjoy visiting when I can, and love to arrive at dawn on days when the sky is filled with a little moisture and maybe even a little dust because the skies can be so dramatic. Dramatic skies make for great inspirations for paintings!This original painting is not currently matted or framed.

The mat will be 18 inches high by 24 inches wide. Add 1/4 inch for the frame width.
