
This painting has a companion
This was a painting that was published by a local notecard company a few years ago. The ocotillo plants grow all over Arizona, except for the very high country. They have many nicknames that refer to their shapes, buggy whips, mule whips, etc.. I can't imagine someone being desperate enough to grab one of these very thorny plants to whip anything. So these names had to be a joke of some sort.
This painting is not currently matted or framed.
