Early in my career I was asked to do some designs for a local note card/ Christmas card company. This was one of the the first designs that was published by them. It was a popular card and I then published it as a print. And, it has been popular as a print.
Quails are very family oriented. The little chicks follow their mommies through the desert, across roads and into the brush. This sweet couple seem to be contemplating starting a family and looking to the future.
This has always been a popular image and a big seller for me. It's a little sad to let this painting go, but I'm clearing out my studio and this painting along with the companion painting, need to find a new home.
This painting is not currently matted or framed.

The mat will be 20 inches high by 16 inches wide. Add 1/4 inch for frame width.
