The saguaro cactus and the blue mountains are
always favorite subjects for the Arizona desert landscape paintings
or prints. This combines the saguaro with the bloom of the hedgehog
cactus, making it a very pretty rendition of the desert. Yes,
mountains in the distance, often appear to be blue in the Arizona
desert. It's amazing how many people don't see that until they
start to discuss one of my paintings, and look up to see a blue
mountain. As an artist I enjoy helping people to see what is
there, and what is felt.
