This original watercolor painting was an easy one to find inspiration for in the desert landscape east of Florence on my way to Winkelman. There was a period of time when I spent a lot of time there, before development and improvements found their way to the area. It was spring, the desert was in bloom, except for the saguaro. Once the saguaros bloom it's usually too hot for a painting trip for me!
This painting is matted in a hand painted mat, framed and ready to hang. All hardware is included.
Watercolors that are properly framed under glass are particularly difficult to photograph. In the above photo the upper portion of the mat shows more yellow than is true in life. I'm sure that's due to the type of lighting, You can see in the photo of my display that my mats are a soft neutral white.
Monitor settings may make a difference in the colors and values you see. I've adjusted these photos to look as close to the originals as possible, but I cannot see what is on your monitor. There is more information on my FAQ page about monitor settings.
