This is one of the prettier views of the Canyon, and therefore one of the better known. Here it is late afternoon and the colors are crisp because there was little haze that day.
I enjoyed being at the Canyon and painting the canyon and the surrounding area for several years.
Monitor settings may make a difference in the colors and values you see. I've adjusted these photos to look as close to the originals as possible, but I cannot see what is on your monitor. There is more information on my FAQ page about monitor settings.
