Southwest Art Print

Limited Edition - Silver Moon

Desert landscape saguaro and prickly pear artist Barbara Ann Spencer Jump

Silver Moon

An edition of 50 prints -  signed and numbered - 11"x17" on paper

I'm often asked about my paintings that include the moon during the daylight hours, and I'm amazed at the numbers of people that have never observed the moon hanging about in daylight. Especially at sunrise or sunset.  Not to mention the numbers who never noticed blue mountains.  If I've played some small part in assisting people to see what is before them, I'm grateful.

The saguaro is the king of the Sonoran desert.  There are five or six varieties of this species, and some of them make for interesting paintings.  The prickly pear seems to grow anywhere.  I was told that it actually grows in 48 of the United States.  Many visitors to the southwest come in the winter, but leave before the cacti bloom, and the wildflowers put on their show.

This print is close to selling out.  If you are interested, order soon.

Monitor settings may make a difference in the colors and values you see.  I've adjusted these photos to look as close to the originals as possible, but I cannot see what is on your monitor.  There is more information on my FAQ page about monitor settings.
