Humming Hummers

Hummingbirds like my garden. They are there all the time through out the year. In the winter they are checking each and every area where there should be blooms and when there are blooms, they are busy, busy. They like the trumpet shapes of the aloe vera flowers, and it's a mission to stick their beak into each one. They seem to have a pattern when they do this. I've wondered if it's the next one in their sight, or if they just move left, right, up and down. We have a couple of hummers that particularly like the bugs on our grape vines. I've gone to the grape vines more than once to find I'm eye-ball to eye-ball with a hummer. These guys have guts!
