This is a newer open edition. That's Picacho Peak in the background, the California poppies are in bloom and quail are happy and abundant. Picacho Peak has a lot of historical significance for most Arizonans since it was the site of the only civil war battle fought in Arizona. Also it's unusual shape is a landmark that becomes a milestone on the route from Tucson to Phoenix, or back again.
