"Our Sunny Home" - watercolor on 300 lb watercolor paper 10" x 8"
This is an original watercolor that was printed as a Christmas card. The cards and prints are no longer available but this original painting is. I found these doors in Cerrillos, New Mexico. Most of the seasonal decorating in the southwest is done with big red bows and garland. There aren't a lot of lights that are used in the way that they are in the more metropolitan areas, and somehow the simplicity adds elegance to the season.
